At Bush Mac Safaris & Tours, we are committed to providing excellent service while ensuring a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all our guests. Please take a moment to review our policies below.

  Booking Policy

  • All bookings must be confirmed via email or phone.
  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your safari, transfer, or accommodation booking.
  • Full payment is required 14 days prior to the start of your first service with us.
  • Last-minute bookings (within 7 days of service) require full payment at the time of booking.
  • Booking confirmations will be sent once payment is received.

  Payment Policy

  • We accept bank transfers and cash payments.
  • Any bank transfer charges must be paid by the client.
  • Prices quoted are in Botswana Pula (BWP) unless otherwise stated.

  Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before the tour: Full refund minus bank fees.
  • Cancellations made 15–29 days before the tour: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made 14 days or less before the tour: No refund.
  • No-shows or unused services are non-refundable.
  • Bush Mac Safaris reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, road conditions). In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

  Safety Policy

  • All guests must follow the guide's instructions during safaris, cruises, and transfers.
  • Bush Mac Safaris & Tours prioritises guest safety and reserves the right to deny participation to anyone posing a risk to themselves, wildlife, or others.
  • Travel insurance covering safari activities is highly recommended for all guests.
  • Guests are responsible for ensuring they have the correct travel documents, visas, and vaccinations where applicable.

  Wildlife Policy

  • We operate under a strict ethical wildlife viewing policy.
  • No feeding, touching, or harassing animals.
  • Maintain a safe and respectful distance at all times.
  • Respect protected areas, park rules, and environmental guidelines.

  Privacy Policy

  • We collect only the necessary information (name, contact details, travel preferences) to arrange your bookings and services.
  • Your personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties without your consent.
  • We respect your privacy and adhere to Botswana's data protection regulations.

  Changes to Policies

  • Bush Mac Safaris & Tours reserves the right to amend these policies as needed. Any updates will be posted on our website and communicated to booked guests.
